About the Author
A Marine aviator and family physician, C.B. Caleb Woodworth and Proverbs 31 wife, Emily, left the world to follow Holy Spirit as restoration (inner healing) missionary pastors over the last twenty-six years. Today, the Woodworths continue ministry among those in need from America’s heartland, making the most of their time, for the days are short.
More from C.B. Caleb
In a world that is growing darker and where hope seems far away, we need to hear about the goodness and faithfulness of God all the more.
This little book of true God Stories will introduce you to the wondrous ways Holy Spirit works to accomplish His will and purposes. Sometimes referred to as miracles, these “Kisses from Heaven” have most often come as a complete surprise or at the eleventh hour to turn ordinary events into inexplicable, extraordinary, or even supernatural ones.
Whether you are doubtful and need a reason to believe or you are a faithful believer grown weary in your walk, you will find story after story of God’s gracious intervention in the lives of mortal men and a hopeful reminder of the goodness and faithfulness of our heavenly Father.
So, Christian, come join us for a walk through our encouraging, if not eye-opening, personal little book of God Stories. We pray it becomes the harbinger of Jesus sharing tender mercies to and through your own lives, leading to an awesome Kiss from Heaven or two for you to pass on to the kids, grandkids, and generations to come.
Interview with the Author
If you could invite one person to dinner, who would it be and what would you cook?
The invite would go to Jesus. If not, President Trump. We would let Emily cook for survival’s sake. Fish for Jesus and Emily. Take out from McDonald’s for the pres and me. To be polite, you know.
Does writing energize or exhaust you?
It is relaxation and a joyful release (unless I cannot get to the thesaurus). I love to ruminate on His stories. So amazing. They never get old.
What do you do when you are not writing?
My wife and I minister inner healing to the brokenhearted, afflicted, and needy through our ministry Face to Face Ministries. We have been doing so for nearly twenty-eight years.
Share something your readers would not know about you.
I am a Marine who flew jet aircraft from carriers and did my time in combat in Vietnam. I am now scared of heights. Oh, the day I got stuck on the top of that lighthouse on Cape Hatteras: not really a God Story.
What is the most difficult part about writing for you?
I watched one of Elon’s SpaceX launches from my front yard last week. The rocket ignited, the noise was deafening, the world shuttered, the enormous missile struggled off the pad, pointed its butt toward us, ever so slowly pulled away, seemed almost stationary until minutes later, leveled off, headed east, took off like a jackrabbit across the heavens, and got down to business in a hurry. It sort of reminds me of what happens when I sit down at my office desk to write—and then, first and foremost, try to be careful to avoid those run on sentences.
