What I think you should know:
The Ring Does Not Fit is contemporary Christian by Sunshine Rodgers. It contains Fantasy elements. Alena is unhappily married and finds herself wanting more.
What you might need to know:
The story does contain storylines that include abuse and alcohol use.
What I thought about this book:
I will admit I was a bit skeptical when I read Travis Rodgers’s forward to the book, I mean most husbands think highly of their wife and her work. I was pleasantly surprised that the book really was good. The concept was fun and unique. Alena had lots of wants and dreams for her life, but when given a glimpse of what might have been she found out that it wasn’t quite what she had imagined. Each “husband” and life was vastly different from her own and I found myself caught up in each story to see what Alena’s life could have been if she had made different choices. I was wary of J.C. at first, but Rodgers wrote it in a way that was not disrespectful. The story was enjoyable and was one that has left me thinking since I read it. I look forward to reading more of Rodgers works.
I received a complimentary copy for this book from Celebrate Lit, this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own.

celebrating those who are still with you and staying humble.
